Cute small bread place with great bread. Sourdough and some awesome flavors in their Balons. Also a book store.

Great bookstore with a unique selection of books. The shopkeeper was so friendly and kind and answered my questions. I look forward to trying the bread next time I come back. Highly recommend stopping in!

A limited selection of bread. But the choices were wonderful. I got a nice dense cornmeal loaf and a rosemary focaccia. A good selection of books to browse through.

Best bagels in the state! And the bread is always spectacular as well! I always enjoy perusing the books and supporting their community action initiatives and mutual aid organizing. I stop by whenever I go through Gardiner.

We stopped in after seeing the store front when driving on a road trip through Maine. We spoke with the baker who was so lovely and thoughtful in explaining their favorites. When we bit into the cinnamon raisin and the cafe roll, HOLY COW! They are fantastic on their own, can’t wait to be back to try them with their infamous butter. Such a delightful stop and treat for the car ride. Incredible texture and sourdough. The book selection is equally thoughtful and much different which is refreshing!
