Stillwells Ice Cream

Best ice cream store! Variety of ice cream is outstanding! Clean eatery and friendly staff. Highly recommend this ice cream restaurant.

I stopped at Stillwells for a frappe and left pretty disappointed. The employee making it seemed annoyed and was complaining the whole time. The drink itself was only filled about 3/4 of the way and was so thick it broke my straw — it was more like straight ice cream than a frappe. For the price, I expected much better. Not a great experience.

Go hungry! They don't have "small" portions. Oh, they have small as an option on the menu for some items, but those are still HUGE servings! A "kiddy" size is the size of most places "large". And the flavor of the ice cream is amazing. Rich, creamy, smooth... everything you're looking for in an indulgent treat at the end of your evening. They aren't shy with the toppings if you're looking for a sundae, either. The shake/frappe (as it's known in the northeast) has the correct amount of smoothness to make it up the straw, without hurting yourself or giving yourself brain freeze, too. I do wish they were open a little later, but I can't even take away a star for that, because everything else is so great, it outweighs that one negative, in my opinion. Go see what you think.

This is my family's ice cream spot. We have been going here for years, the staff are always friendly and do a great job with whatever ice creams we are ordering. The price is typical for an ice cream shop and they don't skimp on the toppings. If you order a topping, they put an appropriate amount of that topping on.
