Early Bird Cafe

I had a vegetable omelet that cost $17 and I couldn't believe how small and skimpy it was. See photo and you make your own opinion. If this is there norm with omelets, I 100% don't recommend ordering one here. My husband had a burger and he did say it was one of the best he's had out in a long time.

My wife and I were in the area. Stopped for a late breakfast. Spacious, clean and friendly. Decor was local, natural and fun. Loved the light covers that appeared to be blue sky with occasional puffy clouds. Nice touch. Our server was amazing. Im not sure how her name is spelled but I think it was close to Ava (ah-va). Super friendly, good humor, very attentive. I did not have to ask for any of my 3 coffee refills. :) but not overly aggressive. I love dipping my toast in over easy eggs. First bite was noticeably good. I know you think eggs are eggs but my wife got scrambled and had the same reaction. Yum. Toast was hot and crispy. Bacon thick cut and crispy not burned. Awesome clean place to get some classic breakfast and lunch staples. Food was delicious. Portions were good. Staff attentive and friendly. Prices way better than what we pay for similar in New Jersey. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area

We’ve been going to Early Bird Cafe at 160 Plaistow Rd, Plaistow, NH for decades. It was our family favorite for generations. But after today’s visit, we will likely scratch it off our list. What was once a fresh and clean restaurant, seems to be getting tired and dirty and seems to have lost its heart. The wait help is always nice, I will always defend them, but the food has gone so far down hill over the years. The attention to detail is gone.
