Customer Reviews
We had been wanting to try this place for a while but they are always packed. We finally decided to give it a shot and were not disappointed! I would highly recommend making a reservation online in advance though. The boba was really good. It's more of a frosted/smoothie consistency (not as much a liquid tea.) We tried the Phorito (literally pho ingredients inside a tortilla) and the thai chili tamarind fried chicken as well. Both were great, and had some kick to them too! We had the mango sticky rice for dessert, and while on the pricier side at $12, it was well worth it and the best stick rice I've had. Can't wait to come back and try more things! I will say though, it would be wise of the owners to seek an even larger location to move to. It's very very packed inside the current restaur
As an asian, this place is decent but nothing pops up at me to want say a must for to again and again. Foodwise Id give a 3.5 if I could, maybe next time when Im passing through again Ill try their other dishes and give them a 4 if it meets my expectations. We got the beef pho combination, crispy rice sour pork, fried quail and sticky rice mango dessert. Pho broth was too cloudy, but it tasted decent, meat was generous and enjoy the fatty meats, quail was good but too expensive for its own good, crispy rice pork is ok, wouldnt get it again. Not a fan of dessert so dont care for the sticky rice mango having grown up eating it its whatever, it was a bit sweet though passable since had worse. Overall its good, but nothing crazy, prob for Knoxville itself its a 4-5 stars since Im traveling and
The new space is a nice upgrade from their previous spot. A lot more seating which was very much needed, because even with the bigger space, this place was packed. The food is always delicious. Their crunchy rice is absolutely amazing. I'd eat it as a meal. The spring rolls were also great, and definitely look interesting. I personally am not a fan of the loab, but that is a comment on my own tastes. The staff is absolutely pro. The owner runs this place incredibly well. Everything is clean, food is delivered fast, everyone is kind, and staff happily interacts with the customers.
We had a good experience. The restaurant was packed at 2pm on a random Tuesday, fortunately we didn’t have to wait for a table. We tried a bunch of dishes, the most tasty to me was the crispy rice, Laos style papaya salad and the pork chops. The house mom’s sauce was delicious with the steamy hot sticky rice!
DELICIOUS!!! I enjoyed my meal soooo much. Everything was so tasty and fresh! The waitress was super friendly and service was quick. We even took some sauce home with us. You gotta go here, you will not be disappointed.
