5.3.24 @9am - I stopped in to get three donuts for the fam: one glazed and two sprinkled. It's what we usually order at all donut shops we've visited. This shop did not have our regulars. Nevertheless, the strawberry and cream cheese, blueberry, and glazed strawberry filled donuts were quite the treat. The donuts were fresh, flavorful, and quite decadent! The atmosphere and customer service were ok. The parking lot needs work. I recall dodging some pretty deep pot holes upon entering.

Steve's is the best bakery aka the "donut daddy" in this area hands down! We've been coming here for many years on our way to starved rock state park. The glazed raised are large and fluffy. The filled donuts are just that FILLED! The cake donuts are nicely dense and great with a hot cup of coffee. All ingredients are top quality. No oil residue on the donuts or the box! Nicely priced. They have a silver cabinet to the right just after you enter with day old items. I've purchased a few items and found they were just like fresh out of the counter! Only draw back is if you come after 10:30am on most days especially weekends there is not a big variety to choose from. Clean and a nice eating area with tables. Very important- THIS IS A CASH ONLY SHOP!!

We were just passing thru heading to KC when we spotted this place. There wasn't much left when we got there and I know why. There was one blueberry muffin cake type thingy left and boy it was so light and fluffy. It was amazing. We have never tasted anything like it. So moist and sweetened to perfection.

The donuts are so good. Wide variety. Holiday themed. Great breads. Birthday cakes. The staff are very friendly.

Better off calling this Steve's Donut Shop. It's impossible to get anything but donuts here, which all sell out extremely quickly. When we asked about cinnamon bread and when it would be available, we were told, "I don't know" and brushed off. When we asked if we could order some, we were told that's not possible. This is not the way to do business. It's apparent that the Streator location is more important to the owners than this location. If that's the case, just close it if you can't offer us the same quality of service.
