Sterling Drive-In

Quaint little old style drive in diner. Good selection of breakfast lunch and dinner options. I have gotten the 4 wheeler breakfast and the chicken parmigiana sandwich. Both were good. Will go back. Both times the waitress was fast, and the food came up quickly. One waitress even brought me a bigger mug for my coffee since I was drinking so much of it (it’s 30° outside!) the place has an authentic feel and they claim to be open since 1943!!! Over 83 years! That’s wild. Maybe the longest open place I’ve ever eaten at.

The food was good, decent size portions. Curly fries had great flavor and crispy. Staff was super friendly.

Where do I start, but this is one neat little place. We arrive around 8:30 on a Saturday night. We had 10 side by sides in our group. There was already another large group there. 2 more large groups came in after us. The waitress calmly told all of us that it was just her and one cook so it was going to be a little bit of a wait. They understood if we wanted to leave but they would do their best. I will tell you that their best between the 2 of them equals a full staff of 12 or so for many. Those 2 worked their butts off and not a person in the restaurant left. Places like this are the reason we love to visit West Virginia. The people there truly want you and your business.
