Rosco’s Soul Food

Oct 10th 2025. A group of us ( 6 motorcyclists) stopped in for dinner. Food was amazing! We had cabbage rolls that were like home cooked. Ribeye and 2 sides was one of the specials. So good! Service and atmosphere was top notch. Add Rosco’s to your must try list

My boyfriend and I were traveling on route 52 and happened to come across this restaurant. Made us feel very relaxed. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the pulled pork sandwich and let me tell you. We have never in our life's had the most perfect tasting pulled pork. I personally think they under charge for the quality of there food. This is peak soul food. The guy running the place was awesome, along with the girl helping to serve and cook. The food was next level, some of the best food I've ever tasted, full of flavor. I came in with a party, we all got something different, and we all were sharing food trying it all. The wings, the pulled pork, the fried catfish, the ribs, mac n cheese, greens... those were the definite highlights, but it was all amazing. I'll definitely be going back

I had to conduct several business ventures that would take me to Welch WVa. I usually research the location so that I am knowledgeable of the establishments prior to going. I saw Rosco's Soul Food had strong positive reviews. Today, a colleague and I stopped in for lunch. The overall experience is reflected in my 5 star review. The place was small but inviting. It was very clean, and the aroma from the kitchen let you know what goodness your palette was about to partake in. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My brisket sandwich and side of mac and cheese was spot on delicious. My colleague, usually talkative was quiet the whole time he ate if that tells you something, lol. Before we left, Roscoe arrived with supplies for the business and we had a chance to talk. He was very down

I feel so horrible to write this review but my family did not have the same experience that everyone else had. The atmosphere was good. The service was bad you could tell our waiter had not been the service industry long and you could barely understand him. I had T-bone steak (the first two options I asked for they were out of) and there was no sear on it. I was not asked how I like my steak. I complained about the steak (which I regret) to which they offered me another steak but it wasn’t worth it because my boys didn’t like their food either. The greens were over salty . My sons Mac n Cheese was very liquidity and his sandwich tasted like it was pulled pork not brisket that he ordered. Plus I got stopped because they thought I didn’t pay when they have the QR code right on the receipt to
