Excellent food and drinks! We came during the holidays and they had hot mulled wine on the menu (if you see it, don't skip it!!) The Pretzel is one of our favorites. We also had the deviled eggs and they were super great.
This place was great. We made reservations on line abs it was easy. We arrived 15 minutes early and were sitting at the table before our reservation. Our server, Luka, was extremely knowledgeable about the dishes and the drinks. He was able to set me up with a Christmas beer that was just like it was when I was stationed in Germany. The food was great. This is a nice place and worth the visit. We'll be going back.
This place was amazing, 10/10 in every area! Atmosphere was amazing, lovely decorated! Service was phenomenal…always making sure we were well taken care of and the food….the food….was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!! For the cocktail, I had the maple Bourbon spice and my fast buds were in happy land! My wife ordered the meatloaf with the noodles and dumplings and I had ordered the schnitzel (pork) with the brandy cream sauce, sauerkraut and German potato salad!! We highly recommend for any occasion! A+++
Honestly, the best part of the dinner were the Christmas decorations, the cocktails and our server Luca. It was the most horrible German food we've ever had, and I'm 100% German, and we've eaten at many, many German restaurants. If this is your first experience, you won't know what to compare to, but it is God awful. You are so right. When order the pretzel sausage cheese sampler platter which was fair. The beer cheese is disgusting. It's full of like celery seed. It's almost like a bad oily salad. Dressing is how I could describe it. You cannot taste the cheese at all. The fruit that came with it was overripe and there were ordinary scattered cheese cubes, around the pretzel. The sausages were tasty. I decided to tie all the sides that I like. The potato pancake was more like an undercooked
Great German food with generous portions. Our server was very knowledgeable about German beer and helped us navigate the menu with ease. The food was really good. The portions were large and very hearty. The homemade apple strudel was divine! A great restaurant when visiting Hot Springs.
