I remember sitting down and being impressed by how quickly the service started. After ordering the super sirloin steak with a side salad and vegetables, the food came out very fast. I especially appreciated how attentive the staff were with water refills — I never had to wait long — and getting the check was just as smooth and timely. The only downside is that they don’t offer a military discount, but it wasn’t a big deal overall. If you enjoy dining in a semi-open space where you can easily see and feel the energy of other patrons, this is a great spot. The entire experience was awesome, and my server, Ethan, really made it happen. The sirloin steak arrived hot, juicy, and flavorful, which made it especially satisfying. The portion size was generous, and I can definitely see myself coming

The place looks a little old and the food is ok. The service is very good and fast. I asked for the rib eye and is far from spectacular, it seems that is done in a pan instead of a grill. It came with salad that is ok with gravy, the gravy is goood!! .The steak is a big portion and it was undercooked, I give them that.

I have been a weekly customer at Steer N Stein in Moreno Valley since July 2025. Every Friday when they open, I purchase two Super Stockyard steaks, medium rare, for my elderly mother who is seriously ill and struggling to maintain weight. Steak is one of the few foods she can tolerate, so this has been a consistent weekly purchase for months. We spend about $68 every single week and have supported this restaurant faithfully. In all that time, I have never asked for a refund or special treatment, only that the food be cooked correctly. Tonight, both steaks I purchased were completely raw when we cut into them at home. I called the restaurant and was told to drive 45 minutes back so they could remake them. Staff refused to connect me with a manager and made it clear they would only replac

My husband's family used to live in MoVal and would always come here with them. Since they moved north, we don't frequent as often, but if you've never been to this unicorn of a place, you NEED TO! Don't you want to come to a family-owned restaurant where they have staff who have worked here for years and are super attentive? You can't find that anywhere anymore! Also, they hand-cut their steaks and season them to perfection. I have NEVER had bad food here! So next time you're in MoVal, treat yourself to Steer 'n Stein; you won't be disappointed. Thank you to Yvette, Tammy, and all the beautiful souls working here!

Ok, I am going to go a little long here. This is my favorite type of steakhouse. Western, kind of kitchy, relaxed. Still crushes a date nights The prices are stuck in time just like this place. The portion sizes are huge. My wife and I share entrees everywhere we go. If you want to do Peter Luger on a budget, this is the place. “Steak For Two” is just their 16oz Super Stockyard. We get it with the shrimp add on; smothered and covered in sautéed onions and mushrooms. Chili beans and a loaded baked potato. Comes with bread too, plenary of food for two. A tip is to get the mushrooms on the side; they will come in a bowl filled with butter. The steaks: •New York Strip •Ribeye •Tri-Tip •Specialty steaks in their own preparation •Then they have their Stockyards, these are their flagship steaks
