Steens Mountain Curbside Grill

First negative review I’ve ever left for a business. Hubby and I passing through town on a road trip stopped thinking we would get a good lunch. This was notably, the worst tri-tip sandwich either of us have ever had. It was full of slabs of fat. The meat was so tough. You could hardly bite through it. For $15 a sandwich, you should get something edible. I do not know how anyone could prepare a sandwich like this expecting someone to eat it. On a positive side, the fries were good. The girl who took the order was very nice and it was served fast.

So so good! The garlic parm fries are amazing! Everything has truly been fantastic. Definitely recommend 🙌🏼

All the barbecue options were really good. Pulled pork, brisket and tri-tip were yummy! French fries are great. Coleslaw crisp and flavorful and not too sweet. Really great stop in Burns!

The food is amazing! Broken top sandwich is my favorite! Along with their spicy pickle fries, garlic parm fries and their fresh squeezed lemonades! The owner is also a smoke show, 10/10 👌🏼

Very prompt service and the bbq was delicious. Hubby had the Steens Mtn Grilled Cheese and I had the Mt. Bachelor. Bread was crispy yet soft, meat flavorful and tender, and sauce was great. We're excited to have another dining option in town, especially on Sunday evening. We opted for take-out, but they have some onsite seating.
