SteamDot Coffee Roasters

I’m really impressed by this coffee because it’s so much better than the beans from Blue Bottle. I discovered it during my trip to Alaska and brought some home, and it’s absolutely amazing. The aroma is rich, the flavor smooth, with just the right acidity. Honestly, I’m a bit jealous of the folks in that town who get to enjoy it every day!

Steamdot is a great roasting company. They are very accommodating to different coffee shop business owners and have been kind in dealing with my many requests. I chose this company because of the competitive prices and the wonderful cupping and roasting facility tour they hosted for me. I’m glad I ended up going with Steamdot!

This review is only for the Nitro cold brew(red can). I’ve never had anything else from this establishment. So , to preface this, I like my cold brew strong. It seems like most cold brews have a caffeine content of 200-300 mg. This cold brew from Steamdot feels like it has 400 mg lol. I’m sure it’s below that amount, but I don’t think this cold brew is for the average person. And honestly think if someone were to drink a full can, without drinking a lot of cold brew, they would freak out. Maybe you guys need to work on a formula that would tone this down. The flavor is okay as well, could be better.

SteamDot is hands down the best coffee in Anchorage! Great environment for meetings, amazing coffee, and friendly staff. You won’t find a better cup of coffee in town!

Not a fan, our company buys ground coffee from here. Way to burnt and bitter. Gave it one star because it's free at work.
