Steak 'n Shake

I loved this place. It was our first time coming here. Thank you, Julie, for being so kind and helpful. I will definitely be back. I can honestly say this is going to be our new spot to stop. The food was great. Reasonably, price like better, then jack in the box. The kids' cars they have to put together are so cute, too.

First time Here at Steak'N'Shake and I have to admit it's a very nice atmosphere. Kind of puts me back into the 60s. I also like the food it was pretty good but the portions are small for the price other than that I highly recommend and I will go back. As you can see in the one picture in compared to my finger the double cheeseburger is very small and the Small cut fries are irritatingly hard to eat...lol... I checked it out and they have some secret menu items that I will try down the road. If you already have done so please comment and let me know. There is supposed to be the 7 / 7 burger and also a 7 / 7 shake not sure at this point what they are but I will find out soon. They are famous for their shakes which I have not tried yet. The food was surprisingly pretty good for fast food. We ordered kids meals. It was very cold inside.

It’s been a few years since I last had Steak ‘n Shake only reason is they closed down the 2 in the inland empire ( Moreno Valley & Temecula ). So I made the hour drive and it was definitely worth it got the BBQ BACON BURGER 🍔 CHILI CHEESE FRIES and a drink the bbq burger 🍔 didn’t look that impressive but man did it taste good the burger had nice crispy edges and was super hot the chili cheese fries were also really good it was my first time trying the chili fries and I didn’t know they had beans in it. ( It was a good surprise ) and my root beer was good too. I will definitely be coming back. Especially since Freddy frozen custard had really been letting me down lately. The food tastes good most of the time. My main issue is them getting orders wrong frequently, in my case, and there is no suitable remedies for those who order delivery through the Steak 'n Shake app. Also, I went through the drive through once, and they missed a whole triple cheese steak burger from my order that I checked when I got home, and then had to drive back to get it. It's like it's done on purpose, and when it happens for delivery, it's bad. I posted the receipt for my order from this evening which prompted this review. Does anyone see a triple cheese steak burger? I received a single cheese steak burger and a double cheese steak burger, not a double and a triple like I paid for.
