Stayton Public Library

This is such a wonderful library. We live in Salem but my daughter and her family used to live in Stayton and were weekly regulars until they moved out of state. They love this library so much that every time they come back to Oregon to visit, they make sure to stop by the library. On their last visit, we went with them for the Minecraft and Angry bird event and had the best time. I had just as much fun as the kids making an Angry bird and the launcher to launch it. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We all had a wonderful time. There’s also a small park behind the library with a playground and a walking trail next to the river. It would be a wonderful place for a picnic.

Small yet friendly very welcoming to all. I was able to get some things done in the back of the library is where they have desks you can use. There are no study rooms. There is a children’s area a place for video games, dvds, cds. A wide variety or literature as well.

I love this library, it has beautiful windows looking out into a park. You can walk to it if you live in the area. Employees are helpful. But you can't always be sure that it'll be quiet when you go.

I have been going here with my kids for about 8 years. We love it here. It is a quiet place to hang out and the librarians are personable and friendly. They remember us and our names. I love being able to pick up holds when they come in for no charge.

I left my headphones at the library and I called and I asked if they had them they said yea and they held them for me it's small but such a helpful community 😄
