Natural beach and beautiful if you didn’t like busy beach day. Very convinced car park close by. But suggested to come very early in the morning to find car parking. There 2 big spot for station 22. If you have kids trail walk to beach very convenient for wagon and baby toddler stroller. And at the end on the trail you will got a little part push the stroller or beach wagon to the sand but not too difficult. Kid’s friendly beach and please don’t forget to prepare enough snack and drink because I will take a little walk to go back to the restaurant or store.

Pros: So quiet. Easy, flat walk from the neighborhoods. The houses are set back from the beach so far that there is very little light pollution at night, and the beach feels very private in daylight. Peaceful. 5 min walk to nearby shops, restaurants, bars and gas station. Cons: no public bathroom, changing stall, nor faucet. No parking lot. Street parking (tires completely off the road to avoid a ticket).

Station 22 is accessed via a neighborhood entrance with limited street parking only. There is a long wooden low-to-ground boardwalk most of the way to the beach. The bright orange station 22 sign is **NOT** visible from the beach! The dunes are too high, and the sign is set too far back to be seen as you walk along the beach. I arrived around 10:30 AM, and the beach was nearly empty. By the time I walked back around 1:30 p.m., there were more people, but there was still plenty of room to have privacy. Very few sea shells/rocks to cut your feet, zero trash, and I observed only 1 or 2 jelly fish washed up on the beach. The closer you get to Ft. Moultrie, the more washed up jelly fish you see (100s). There are no life guards on duty, and cars are not permitted on the beach. Dogs on

Great Portion of Sullivan's Island! I Enjoyed just relaxing out by the waves watching the Moon and the Sun in the sky together. It was Remarkable!

Fiding legal parking means getting there early. You can easily put on the miles just by walking along the beach.
