Poe's Tavern

Food was absolutely delicious. The decor was so cute. Very loud inside. Our waitress was great. The bacon blue cheese coleslaw was amazing. The chili cheese fries were very good. The burgers were good. We ordered them medium well and they were definitely well done. A little dry but the flavor was good. I’d order them medium when we return!

Fun, southern atmosphere with descent food. We sat outside in October and enjoyed the fresh air. My wife's and my burgers were really good, my coleslaw has been better in past visits. My wife had the Annabelle Lee, and I had the Beef sleeper burger. Beer price surprised me, seemed high, but maybe that's because we are from Wisconsin where beer flows like water at great prices. We always make a stop at Poe's when visiting.

This is the best food I have ever eaten hands down, I got the tell tale heart burger and I finished it clean (I never am able to). The staff was very kind and attended to every table even when packed. They have beef chicken and vegan for the patty on your burger,and have great drinks. I wish to visit again soon.

The atmosphere was wonderful! We sat outside at covered picnic tables. The inside seating was warmly lit with cozy nooks. The bathroom was nice with book pages lining the walls. The food was generously portioned and fresh. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and it was delicious. You can't see the pile of boiled egg, bacon crumbles, and bleu cheese. The pimento cheese crouton was unique and yummy.

These burgers are absolutely amazing!!! 🤩 Really enjoyed sitting out on the porch, but the inside has a great vibe too. This place was highly recommended and I see why.
