State Street Grille

First time visit with the family. Absolutely awesome service . Wife had meatloaf, son had a burger and I had the prime rib French dip . Appetizer was the fish dip . All food items were awesome. French fries were the bomb. Loved the fish dip presentation as well . Took some banana pudding to go as well. Really great experience and will definitely return and recommend to others. What a great place, excellent service with excellent food .

The atmosphere of this place is very welcoming, kind, and amazing. Our waitress Donna was amazing. Never missed a beat. Quick to take our empty dishes, fill our cups, and take our orders. Super sweet and friendly. My meatloaf was mooshy and bland. My husband's southside chicken had good flavor. Juicy. Rice pilaf was really good. The appetizer mozzarella sticks were delicious.

Yesterday I had my husband order our regular meals that we usually get from you. When he got home with our food I must say I was quite displeased with our food order. The prime rib french dip was overcooked and dry and didn't look nowhere near what I had ordered many times before. The french fries were absolutely horrible there were so many burnt pieces of old French fries with new fries it was disgusting. And the smoked fish dip was not the same as before. A blob of tuna and four pita chips with carrot sticks jalapenos and black olives and didn't even taste the same. My husband and I had lunch for the first time today at this restaurant and we liked it very much. I had a Monte Cristo sandwich and my husband a Reuben. Both were delicious and tasty. The corn bread was delicious The staff was friendly and polite. We will recommend it to our friends and neighbors. And, definitely we will be going back again.

We stopped in for lunch today with the kids, and everything was amazing from start to finish. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor — you can tell they really take pride in what they serve. And the fries? Oh my gosh… to die for. Perfectly crispy, perfectly seasoned — the kind you keep eating even when you’re already full. The kids loved their meals, the service was quick and friendly, and the whole vibe was super family-friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back!
