State Side Deli & Restaurant

I love their veggie omelet. Their sundried tomatoes make it outstanding. And I love that they do NOT serve cheap white bread, like you find at all the coney dog restaurants. This bread actually has a flavor to it. The waitress said it was from Metropolitan Bakery. Please carry their products, so we can buy them to take home!

We ordered the kids cheese burger and chicken tender meal. The burger was good and rather big. There are wonky two chicken tenders in the kids meal. Fries are seasoned and really good. Staff is super friendly. The prices for adult meals are high.

Food was delicious as usual. Wait staff are all very pleasant and attentive. We came at a very busy time and still got our food pretty quickly. The building could really benefit from some sound absorption material, everything is steel, cement and glass so it can get loud in there, especially when the kiddos are present.

I wish I could give 100 stars! Stateside is hands down my favorite restaurant in Livingston County! The atmosphere, location, servers, owners, kitchen staff, food, and everything in between is truly outstanding! Their breakfast foods are my favorite, especially their sausage gravy, knowing that they’ve worked hard to perfect their HOMEMADE recipe for a long time makes it even more delicious compared to the stuff out most places buy in bulk. Everyone on staff never fails to put a smile on our faces and fill our bellies! I’ll forever recommend Stateside to anyone looking for a bite to eat!

I had a pleasant experience at State Side Deli. It was my first time and I will probably go back. I found the young ladies working the counter to be friendly and professional. The restaurant was clean and spacious and the corn beef sandwich was delicious!
