Starvin’ Arvin’s

We decided to try Starvin Arvins after hearing good things, but it just wasn’t for us. The portions were decent, but the food tasted like it had been microwaved and heavily salted. The gravy had a visible oily layer on top, and the mashed potatoes seemed instant rather than homemade. Nothing about it felt slow-cooked or fresh. It didn’t taste like rich comfort food. It tasted like you were licking a salt shaker. If you’re someone who doesn’t mind extremely salty, reheated style meals, you might be fine with it. But for anyone watching sodium or expecting real home cooking, this just wasn’t it for us.

Had the roasted turkey with mash tators and green beans pintos on the side extra paid a little over 15.00 dollars. Nothing tasted home made. Green beans over salted, tators was out of a bag, pintos was canned. The turkey was good the corn bread was eatable. Over all just not my type of home cooked meal for the money. P.S. the ladies when asked about the food replied they just serve the food.

I got the turkey and gravy. This is not processed sliced turkey.... It's pulled right off a real turkey and is like thanksgiving day turkey. It's fantastic. Highly recommend. I also got the macaroni and cheese which was very creamy and delicious. The green beans were great and the sweet corn was wonderful also.

Just took my family to Starvin Arvins for the first time and we were all blown away by the quality of food and the service. Quinn was super kind and professional and knew his way around the menu. The food was truthfully 12/10. Think your grandmother who’s been feeding her family since she was 16 level of good. We had the Turkey, Chicken N Dumplings, sweet potato casserole, hash brown casserole, mashed potatoes and corn. As I write this review my 10 year old niece just said “ooooh my tummy is so full but I cannot stop eating, it’s so good”. Which is a great synopsis of this experience. Hats off to Arvin and the team, this is great!

We ordered online and picked up through the drive thru right before close on a Tuesday and everything was very good. We got the open faced roast beef and the pot roast with corn and green beans.
