Backyard Pizza and Raw Bar

Sat at the bar for lunch. Bartender was very busy but he accommodated us great anyway! Super attentive and a true craft beer snob! Don’t ask for any domestics on tap. It’s very offensive to them. lol. 😂Great Lobster Dip and Philly Pizza. Loud dining room but they get the job done. We love to Support local and it’s just a small walk from parking. Great Sangria and wine selections. Professional food runners had pride in their food. Close to the arena and Pullman Center.

It was our first time eating here today, I had my sister and her baby. They were super accommodating, we had calamari which was so good and the Philly pizza. That was the best pizza I’ve had in a long time! 10/10, next time I’d get banana peppers on it for some acidity but it was super flavorful and better than most of local places around

I had the Pear pizza and I wish I'd gotten the bigger one so I could eat more 😭 it was surprisingly good, I'm glad I wasn't wearing socks or I'd have lost them. I also got the chocolate porter and haystack dessert. The aforementioned gif applies to all of this. 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 I cannot go and neglect to mention how sweet the staff were as well! I had so much fun there!

Everything is cooked to order at the restaurant. Pizza is great and can be GF. The dessert Backyard Haystack is wonderful. It’s located in Huntington WV this is our dinner stopping point. It is usually packed because it is in a college town. If there anything going on in town or a football game/homecoming weekend expect a wait. Make a reservation.

Want some good pizza, come by backyard pizza and raw bar! I had the Rockefeller Oysters to begin with! The flavor combinations in that dish were amazing! Topped with what looks like creamy spinach, crumbled bacon, and buttery breadcrumbs and also had some Parmesan flavors in it. Then for the pizza I had the Milano! Such creamy Alfredo sauce and the cheeses all blend together, it was like I was in ratatouille when Remy would try food! Such an amazing blend of flavors and it being from a wood stove gave the bread a beautiful char. The bread was also very fluffy and filling! Out of the entire menu there was a big selection of pizzas so when you come there will be a wide selection to pick from!
