I just discovered a donut shop that redefines what a donut can be, think of it as the Beyoncé of baked goods. The dough is so unbelievably soft it’s like biting into a fluffy cloud, but with a crispy shell that’s perfectly crunchy, like a donut with a secret superhero cape. How do they pull this off? This man is a wizard with a rolling pin? Honestly, these donuts are so good, I’m considering quitting my job just to work there and find out the secret. If you’re a fan of life’s simple pleasures, do yourself a favor and visit. Your taste buds will thank you, and your snack game will forever be elevated.

Incredible vegan doughnuts! As a person with a dairy allergy, I rarely find a place with a pastry for me, and never one with as many amazing, artisan options as I found at Starlight Doughnut Lab. We purchased a variety of seasonal and staple flavors to try for our first time—everything was delicious!! The vegan boston cream was to die for (this was the #1 flavor for me, my husband, and my kids). Really loved the classic vanilla ring donuts too – this was the closest I've had to a traditional fluffy donut. The blueberry fritter was really interesting – not very sweet in the pastry, but balanced with the tart berry icing. I'm hoping they come out with an apple fritter in the Fall! They serve Proud Hound coffee which we enjoy, and found to be a very balanced brew. Staff was super friendly

This shop is very small and in a residential area, but let me tell you, the donuts are PHENOMENAL. They have plenty of vegan options (11 on the day I was there) and the lady who helped us gave us a full walkthrough of each flavor. The place looked clean and there was a much deserved line going out the door when we left.

TOTAL diamond in the rough!! Cute little interior, kind and cheery staff (in person and on the phone), AMAZING donuts. Bonus points that they are the only place I can find that consistently carries pink donuts for my daughter! (Excuse the bite taken in the photo. We couldn’t resist and it was to die for)
