Quatman Cafe

We put in an order for 2 cheeseburgers and fries. We picked it up at our pickup time and we had an 8 min drive home. The burgers were not correctly made. The cheeseburgers were completely dehydrated and the fries were rock hard and ice cold. There is no way these items were made fresh. I called and requested a manager and the girl who answered the stated, " Well can I ask why" in a very rude tone. The manager came to the line, he wasn't as rude as the girl who answered the phone, but he wasn't very helpful. Definitely a 1 and done for me.

A now retired coworker (Hi Mike!) used to rave about this place before he moved south. He wasn't wrong. Excellent burgers, and my wife loved her salad.

Very cute café w/ outdoor seating. Simple menu with bar favorites and the prices are great!!! Local staple since 1966. Definitely recommend for a yummy lunch. Fries were crispy and the chicken tenders were very juicy and tender. The sweet tea had a hint of lemon.

While definitely being a no frills restaurant, the food and service did not reflect that. You can't beat the prices, and the servers were Johnny on the spot at all times. Their burgers are right up there with any in the city. Fry's came out hot and crispy. Check their website for daily specials, which make an inexpensive menu even cheaper. Do not expect fine china and gold plated silverware.
