Starbucks

This Starbucks used to be one of my favorite locations, but after the recent remodel it has become one of the most disappointing. Before the remodel, the store had plenty of seating. Now there are only a few seats left, and the ones they use are very uncomfortable. Most of the space behind the counter has been cleared out for staff use only, leaving customers with almost nowhere comfortable to sit. With seating this limited and uncomfortable, it’s going to be very hard to attract customers back to the store. Even when there are only a few customers in the store, the wait times are still extremely long. My orders routinely take more than 20 minutes, with no explanation and no sense of urgency. What makes it even more frustrating is the inconsistency in service. Spanish-speaking customers

Got to see this new location the other day. Not a traditional Starbucks store. They have a walk-up order area as well as a drive-thru. Reminiscent of what you’d see in Washington state’s stand-alone coffee shops or Dutch Bros in Colorado. It wasn’t busy around 11am on Sunday like other Starbucks I’ve been too. I actually really like this location. Just super disappointed that at 11:00a, they ran out of Matcha powder already. But I will be going to this location more. Hopefully they actually have Matcha next time.

The coffee is delicious, the store is clean, and the seats are nice. It was nice to sit and have a coffee and spend some time. There are also many outdoor tables so you can sit outside.

Emily and the team at this location were so nice this morning when I accidentally had an online order at another location. How embarrassing. I usually get my drinks here and Thai location hires great people. Always friendly, they work thru the long drive thru line quickly and always wave you off with a smile.
