Starbucks

Following a warm greeting upon entering, we ordered a white chocolate mocha, a vanilla latte, and cinnamon coffee cake. Two employees brought the smoothest coffee we have ever had as well as warm (comfort food) coffee cake! Excellent service and atmosphere!

I hate to leave this review; however, yesterday I found a long black hair in my drink. Sadly, I drank a good portion before I noticed it in the cold foam. I am blonde. Also, I asked for caramel drizzle which wasn't added.

Starbucks in Grimes! Finally!! If you don't mind the short wait for your ritual Starbucks, this location is great. Little bit of a wait since it's new and the only Starbucks storefront in the neighborhood. Drinks made as expected. Flavors were spot on and made as requested. Service was ok, nice. Full staff (I saw 7 employees) on a Friday and Saturday morning. They were whipping those orders so fast. Online orders were very popular. Drive through was lined up to 8 cars long in parking lot. I dined in and watched the orders being made. I didn't wait long inside. Maybe 5 min max. Total came to $11.xx for two drink after gratuity. Seating and decor inside is modern and comfy. Ordered ahead and got there about five minutes after placing the order. I was the only customer in the establishment with at least 5 baristas working. I ordered a blonde vanilla latte with light ice as I always do and it tasted like pure milk. When I asked them to redo it, they said that since I ordered it with light ice it was bound to taste more milky. But I order it every time and it’s never been nearly that bad. Once they remade it with normal ice it still tasted extremely milky and bland and I ended up not drinking it. Meanwhile, I had two food items that were supposed to be warmed up, and after 20 minutes of waiting for my food items they were still not warm at all when I received them. Multiple employees working yet it still took 20 minutes for my order to be completed. I understand

Frustrated with this starbucks. Been to the majority of them in the DSM metro. This one anytime you put in a mobile order and are in the drive thru they give you a "hard time" saying "what did you order or how many things did you order, then proceeds to tell me this morning 9.12.25 that we have a lot of mobile orders we might be able to pull yours before you reach the window". This is not a me issue here. If you can't handle your mobile ordering then dont take it out on us customers. We are already spending an arm and leg just for a drink. If you aren't happy with your job find another but never make a customer feel like they are a burden
