Star Of the Sea Bed and Breakfast by Elevate Rooms

Purely for location and room size, there is good value here. Where it loses points for me is in the details. The floors, along the baseboards in the bathroom, looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages, paint scraped from door moldings, missing hardware on Venetian blinds, inadequate supplies for coffee (1 packet of sugar, then only Stevia), no instructions for coffee maker, no instructions for tv/cable. I'm resourceful, so I figured it out, but I'm not sure other, older persons would be as inclined. On the positive side: Rooms are spacious and bright with loads of windows. It has its own living room area. AC unit in the bedroom, a ceiling fan in the living room. Linens smelled clean and fresh, towels were plush. Bed was comfortable. No balcony in my room, my relatives had one in theirs,

I had such a wonderful stay here. The sea views from rooms at the front are breathtaking - such a wide expansive view of the sea can be seen. The house is so comfortable, so bright and spacious, and has such a nice, uniform warmth to it, and the beds are so comfortable. |Jane and Lily and the others are truly kind and gracious hosts running this bnb. Its location is perfect, you can be on White Rock Pier in about 5 minutes on foot. This area of the beach is spoilt for choice of lovely walkways and the surrounding area is picturesque. Even the famous White Rock can be seen from the front (common) room of this house!

We wanted a quick get away by the ocean. This was a fantastic location with an amazing view. The room was clean, and the house was very quiet. Excellent communication from the host as well. Overall, excellent and certainly recommend.

The owners were really nice and the view was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay and found the room to be very good value!

This is a beautiful building in a fantastic location with a great view and a big soaker tub. However, the furnishing and bedding were of very low quality (didn't get a sheet for the bed just a scratchy comforter) and we were disturbed by noise from other areas of the home throughout the day and night.
