I love this coffee shop and lunch spot! Not only does it have an impressive chef behind its tasty menu and drinks but also has the friendliest baristas, manager, and cook. After a few White Lightenings and Honey Bee Lavenders, everyone knew my name and made a point to greet me and send well wishes as I leave. I appreciate their hard work and dedication to quality cuisine, coffee, and service with consistent hours. The shop is beautiful, too, with an inviting atmosohere. You know, between all the new restaurants we've had downtown, Standard and Parish both pull everything off every time we go. It's sad to see developers restore these beautiful buildings and stumble at the running of their ventures in the service, cook time, and flavors. Standard Coffee Co. – A Must-Visit in Monroe! I’m visiting Monroe from North Carolina with Hope Center Ministries, and I’ve absolutely fallen in love with this coffee shop! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel truly at home. On my first visit, I had an iced mocha that was perfectly balanced and refreshing while I enjoyed the beautiful local artwork displayed throughout the shop. The next day, I tried the White Lightning and an apple coffee cake muffin, both of which were incredible! The coffee was smooth and flavorful, and the muffin was the perfect treat to start my morning. Every visit has been consistently wonderful, from the warm service to the cozy atmosphere and delicious food. I highly recommend Standard Coffee Co. to anyone visiting Monroe! ☕️

It was amazing!!! The food was FANTASTIC!!! I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese, and it was perfectly seasoned and tasted amazing! I also got the Red Velvet Mocha Latte (iced) and it was a great blend of sweetness, milk, and espresso! I would definitely recommend coming to Standard!

I highly highly recommend Standard for a coffee meet-up or a lunch break- both menus are dy-na-mite! I have ordered the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl, no exaggeration, at least 17 times on Door Dash.... the Honey Lavender coffee is delicious too. Cool space, friendly staff, and awesome kitchen makes this place my favorite in Monroe.

Just got a coffee in the morning but its a positive experience and I am anxious to get back to try their lunch menu! It’d be awesome if they someday are able to extend the food hours (lunch is 11-2:30 or something like that) because it looks like good healthy food!
