St. Francis Public Library

My godparents were members of the zoological society, so as a kid, I went fairly often. My favorite thing about the zoo is going to the big cat building at 3 pm. Feeding time. As soon as they brought the food, these huge felines would let rip with powerful roars so loud you could feel the air reverberate. The visceral reaction to the event was that my skin would burst with goosebumps, and realization would dawn. This sound is why our ancestors learned how to make spears and hunt. The reason why I bring this up is the treasure I want from St. francis is the free zoo pass with parking. I want to feel the reverbation and watch these huge predators who made progenitors shake with fear. Care to meet me at 3?

Best library ever! Easy to navigate, helpful staff, and wonderful adult and children's programs!

I didn't know that the place was located there, I went in it was nice I can't wait to go back!! 😁😁

Overall this is a nice library and we've enjoyed the activities for kids provided outside during the pandemic and then inside as well. Miss Jessica is awesome! However, the person filling in yesterday prior to Mary (another children's librarian) arriving was terrible. She seemed to not want to be there and when my child wanted to say hello she kept brushed her off saying "excuse me" with this tone... I mean, I get it, some people don't like kids. But maybe management shouldn't have that person fill in or help out in the children's area then? Or if she was having a bad day maybe she should have called in. Because she just made us feel like we shouldn't be there at all and that she shouldn't be bothered by patrons whatsoever, even just to say hi. Sad that someone like that is allowed to brin

Loved it! Hasn't changed much, I haven't been there in a long time. They had wat I wanted so I went 2 pick them up. Nice people that work there 2. Very helpful 4 the summer reading program. Lots of wonderful prizes, so many 2 pick from. It ends the 3rd of August.
