Spud Fish & Chips

We went there on a Monday. The space was quiet and clean. The stuff are friendly. We always enjoy the clam chowder soup.And fish and chips. The juanita park is right across the street which makes it fun to get your food for take out and enjoy it in front of the water. The pricing is fair for 2 people.With fish and chips and corn chowder and calamari we paid around forty five dollars. The quality of calamari is amazing. I appreciate the staff for being time.Efficient providing our food quickly. Eight i'm giving us enough time to decide and search the menu carefully. The seating is not assigned.You can sit anywhere and then you can clean up your table after you're done. They could have done a better job of wiping the tables after each customer as we skipped the table since it had some stain

It's been a little while since I've been here, but I used to always get a three-piece fish with no fries. When I came to pick up my order, I saw that they had housemaid potato chips. I bought them for $4.25, a little expensive but I figured I might as well since it's such an awesome establishment. The three pieces of fish I got were equivalent two less than two two pieces of fish that I would have gotten about a year ago. I got three tartar sauce, and five vinegar. Usually I'm able to use at least two of my tartar sauce, and the majority of the vinegar while eating my three-piece. That's not the case anymore. You only need about one tartar sauce and one vinegar for a three-piece fish and chip. The quantity is incredibly disappointing. I will not come back anymore for the price to quantity

We went here for the first time in almost ten years. It felt like it had only been a week. The same great fish and chips, friendly employees, and fast service. Listen, people; it's not rocket science: order to-go, bring your own drinks and tartar sauce, and enjoy your food across the street at beautiful Juanita Beach. It cost us fifteen dollars a piece, including tip. I'll show myself out...

Our family finally gave Spud a try after living in Kirkland for many years and never eating here. I had the cod and chips and unfortunately the cod was the saltiest restaurant food I have ever had. I thought it was the breading that was salty but I ate some of the breading alone and it was fine. But the fish by itself was SO salty!! It was not a pleasant meal. One of my family members had the fish sandwich and it was too salty for his taste. If it was just those two food items I would have rated this 2 stars. However, another family member had the chicken strips and those were good. We all thought the chips (fries) were very good and not too salty. I really wanted this to be a winner but it just wasn't good for us.

Omg this place is incredible, the staff was great and my family felt very welcomed here. The clam chowder was very good. I also got their chicken burger and the flavor was very unique, sweet and savory at the same time. The 3 piece fish and chips was very fulfilling, each piece was huge
