A Cozy Mountain Escape at The Spruce Saddle Lodge If you’re looking for a quintessentially rustic mountain experience at Beaver Creek, the Spruce Saddle Lodge is an iconic stop that perfectly balances convenience with high-alpine charm. Located at the top of the Centennial Express Lift, it serves as the literal and figurative heart of the mountain. The Atmosphere The first thing you notice upon entering is the impressive timber-frame architecture. With its massive vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, the lodge captures the grandeur of the Rockies. Even when the lunch rush is at its peak, the space feels airy and bright. On a sunny day, the outdoor deck is the place to be; the views of the surrounding peaks are nothing short of spectacular, making it one of the best spots for peop
There’s no prices on the cocktail menu. The bartender automatically charges 20% for the tip, then doesn’t give a receipt or tell me I’m closed out. I had to ask. I guess most people here don’t care how much things cost, but it would have been nice for a heads up on how much my $28 drink was going to cost before I checked my credit card statement.
Good serious food options. Would have liked to see some yogurts ir smaller snack size foods/fruits. Fun place with lots of seating!
Beautiful mountain top location, limited food options during the late Summer- we were here in August, but still great burger and chicken options.
Well the views are fantastic. Ambience incredible. However for as good as the smoker smells outside the food underwhelms. Almost no smoke flavor in the pork it’s almost like they did it in an oven and then the smoker for like 3-5 minutes. Also you’re going to spend at least $15 more per person than what the vouchers allow for. I get it eating at the top of a mountain is cool. Maybe pack a nice lunch or something save some money and it might taste better.
