Springmier Community Library

This library is such a great resource for the community! The workers are so attentive and caring. My children love coming to this library so much due to the atmosphere and the quality of materials offered for in library use. The librarians have made excellent use of their space to create a warm and welcoming environment for people of all ages, with enriching activities throughout the week. I cannot recommend it enough!

Liz Petersen at the Springmier Community Library is the absolute best. She is incredibly kind, dedicated, caring, and hardworking. She makes this library one of a kind. I highly recommend checking out this library. Don't be offput by the location being in the middle school. If it's during the school day, just go through the office, or visit on evenings or Saturdays! The story times are so great. My kids love them! Liz does a great job with all ages, they are engaging and your child will love her like mine do. Afterward, she gets out very fun toys and sensory bins, that she had chosen for the library and since she's also a mom, she knows what's fun! If you're looking for a book that you can't find or that has a long hold list at the other libraries, come and ask Liz and she will help you! L

I checked the hours before I came to visit and when I got there the school staff said their librarian wasn’t there. They laughed at the situation and weren’t apologetic. A community library should reflect the city it belongs in and this library is geared for kids with limited availability.

My kids love playing here! Great book selection. Wonderful staff. It's in the middle school, which is a little weird on school days, but other than that it's perfect!

An excellent library! I love all of the weekly story time options for kids of any age and there is a wide selection of new adult books. The staff is so friendly and very willing to help you find a good book! They have a wide variety of genres and I love to Overdrive/Libby option this library has to offer!
