Spain 92

I enjoyed a thoroughly delightful lunch at Spain 92, which I had always been curious about. First things first, there’s plenty of parking. They happily seated us, though my in-laws were still in route. We ordered a pitcher of delicious sangria and an appetizer plate. The crouquettas were to die for as were the nicely sauced stuffed mushrooms. I enjoyed my branzino. The rest of my party ordered the paella, which was stunning. I’m glad we didn’t skip dessert because the tres leeches cake was SO good. We will definitely be back ♥️

Food good. Paella enough to split and flan delish. Veg soup excellent. Only issue is waiters really do speak or understand English so some things are missed.

This place has been around for more than 30 years (previously across the highway in Raritan. That longevity is reflected in the dishes - Spanish cuisine which tastes just as it did back in 1996 when I first tried it.

Lovely restaurant! Will definitely come back! When I first showed up, the staff seemed relatively confused when I first entered and I did not feel welcome at first. From the confused looks on the staff's faces, I briefly wondered if maybe I was underdressed or if they didn't have a dedicated server on the schedule yet, but someone eventually took the initiative to greet and seat me and all was well. As soon as I sat down, I was offered drinks before I was able to look at a menu, so I assume the person who served me (Santiago) was more used to being a bartender -- however, very friendly and attentive service from him and the others who served me. This place has such an authentic atmosphere. The staff was constantly helpful & engaged. The sangria was amazing, the appetizers were spot on and the main course was delicious. The paella was very tasteful and fresh! It was a big portion for one person! Which I’m glad I got it. Awesome choice! Definitely need to try other dishes next time. Definitely a must try.
