Spaghetti Lane

My husband and I went further than usual for our Tuesday lunch date this week. We drove all the way to Barrington, crossing the still-under-construction bridge amidst heavy traffic. We entered the cafe portion of the establishment. It had the feel of an European cafe promising epicurean delights. On one side of the cafe, many varieties of wines were displayed. Across from that was a dessert case, filled with such temptations as truffles, pastries, and cakes. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The Italian bread was just that - crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. I had the chicken parm with spaghetti, while Ralph had the veal parm with penne. After our main course, my husband had coffee, while I enjoyed a smooth, non-bitter cappuccino. I couldn't resist a treat from the dessert

I come from a long line of Italian ancestors. I just got back from a European vacation including 2 days in Florence and Rome. The food here at Spaghetti Lane rivals everything I ate in Italy. I had the pink vodka penne with sweet Italian sausage and my mother had meat lasagna. Excellent taste, texture and very generous portions. The Italian bread reminded me of authentic Italian bread of my youth- crunchy crust on outside, tender on inside. The Gelatos were great and we split salted caramel chocolate bon bon. They had a large assortment of delicious looking desserts. They also do catering.

Great restaurant in Barrington, RI. Specializes in Italian foods. They offer spaghetti, Penne and Ravioli as well as lasagna with cheese or meat. You can select which type of sauce you want on your pasta. They also offer scallops, chicken and veal dishes and Fish and Chips. Pastry shop Nextdoor where you can choose your dessert and have it brought back to the restaurant where you can eat it with your coffee.

This place was a surprise, tucked in a neighborhood in Barrington and who would have thought they have some of the best Italian food! We ordered too much food because we couldn't decide! Everything was fantastic, chicken cutlets, vodka sauce, meatballs, stuffed zucchini flowers, etc. Everything was fantastic, the service was great. We will be back often

Two days ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Spaghetti Lane, a charming boutique restaurant and Italian bakery in Barrington, Rhode Island. What we experienced there was nothing short of perfection. From the very first bite, it felt like I was back at my Auntie Jenny’s house on a Sunday. The food was absolutely on point—authentic, comforting, and full of flavor. The service? Even better. What stood out most was the camaraderie: between the staff, the clientele, and the owner. That rare feeling of truly being at home—the one every restaurant strives to give you—Spaghetti Lane delivers effortlessly, and in spades.
