Southside Steakhouse

Atmosphere was wonderful. Alexandria was my server and she was delightful. I ordered tge scallops and they were cooked perfectly. As the entree, I ordered the Filet and it couldn't have been cooked any more perfect than it was.

Had our second visit within a months span. The first visit our food tasted great but as kitchen employees ourselves, we could tell our plates had been under a hot lamp for a while. To the point where the hanger steak I ordered developed that glazed like look. We returned last night with some family from out of town hoping to show them a good place to eat. We arrived at 6pm We were seated as a party of 7 by 620 due to a canceled reservation. The problems started with our drinks. We ordered three sprite. All three came back without a LICK of syrup in them. No big deal that happens right. So after waiting about 25 minutes after getting our drinks we are finally blessed with presence from wait staff, who took BOTH OUR ENTREE AND APP ORDERS. The apps were great although we waited WAY TOO LONG

We happened upon this restaurant late (an hour before closing) and, luckily, were able to be seated. For appetizers we ordered two house caesar salads, the generous dressing and shaved parmesan cheese were delicious. Since it was late, we decided on the Vermont Wagyu burgers rather than steak. They were ordered medium rare--they were cooked perfectly! We finished with carrot cake and the steakhouse eclair (huge--two-person dessert!). Next time we are in town, we will definitely eat here again.

My favorite place to go. Portions are perfect. Prime rib egg roll is my favorite appetizer. 👌 Ive been here many times. The food is always consistent and delicious. Prime rib is flavorful and cooked to perfection. The carrot cake is my favorite dessert! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quality cooked steak.

The NY sirloin steak was nice and pink in the middle with a crispy seared exterior. The scallops were lathered in a delicious, light maple glaze. The red potatoes were so good. They were seasoned just right.
