Edit: Tried the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Glad I didn’t get the Big Chix, the regular was big enough for me. This is a lot of great food for a great price. I was working in the area over two years ago and really liked this place, I am back and stopped in for a late lunch and nothing has changed. Everybody is very friendly, the food is exceptional and the price is affordable. I got two chicken leg quarters, which comes with two sides, I got the mac & cheese and the coleslaw. It also comes with a roll, I went ahead and added a drink. The food was $10, with the drink I think I paid $12. I ordered less than two hours before they closed and the chicken was still very moist. I like their Mac-n-cheese and the Cole slaw was delicious. I had one the other day that was dry and tastele

The moment you walk in the door, you already feel like you’re at grandma‘s house. The smell is amazing .They present you with a nice area to stand in to order. The menu is clear and the hospitality is genuine. The barbecue sandwich is enough to feed you for two days!

I've been there several times, and by far they're the best thing going right now with in tidewater for barbecue in my opinion. Their prices are amazingly affordable they used a a vinaigrette BBQ sauce and the flavors explod in your mouth 💯👌🏿 I only wish it was a dine in however I think it's seating outside by the grills if so when it warms up looking forward in trying that. Overall a must try if you are a fan of smoked or barbeque as I am.

Tried the pulled and chicken sliders to get a taste of this place it was top notch, coleslaw was also top notch, and again the mac n cheese was top notch, hot sauce and bbq sauce was top tier also, service and small chat again top tier. Ill be returning for sure. Highly recommend this place (not open on weekends)

Absolutely love this place. Everyone on the staff was friendly and welcoming. The decor will keep you entertained. For your very short wait time. Food was delicious. Looked and smelled so good that I forgot to take a picture for this review. Had to dig right in. Very reasonably priced too. Can't wait to go back.
