Southport Diner

Egg white omelet had the taste of the grill it was cooked on- ie scorched the egg whites. SOOOO expensive!! They also added an inflation tax. It was $50 for 2 of us ordering omelets, no extras. Crazy to charge so much for breakfast.

Food was good. Took for ever to get a sever. Ordered an over easy eggs, home fries, sausage links and toast…. What use to be $6 came out to $15.25. Mind you it’s suppose to be a diner. Without my knowledge, they charged a .65 offset fee. It’s Fairfield County, they’re not hurting.

Food looked super good and big portions but me and my significant other’s stomach hurt right after. I had the French onion soup and eggs Benedict. Waitress forgot my bacon and denied that she was in the wrong. Update: service was good this time around and the food was excellent I had an omelet and confetti and blue berry pancakes

Great classic diner experience. Plenty of parking and seating. The staff was friendly and should not try to squeeze people into the booths. The food was all delicious and accuracy made. Their house made deserts were also very impressive. The diner was very bright and clean inside. The music was for a much younger crowd but it was not detracting.

Typical dinner food with a little Greek twist. Service was very good and the people working there are personable. They have an extensive Greek menu including warm pita bread and hummus and gyros. I didn't get this side of the menu but would have gotten it next time if I decided to come back. I was very happy with everything until I got the bill. First let me say I understand we are all suffering from inflation and the rising costs of let's say, everything. However, to sneak in at the end of the bill, with absolute no warning, an "inflation offset fee" is deceitful and in my opinion bad business practices. No signage, no warning, just a penalty on your bill for the way the world is. It really makes me upset because if they would have let me know ahead of time, I would have understood and ac
