My two friends and I shared all of the dishes we ordered... Charred Octopus - delicious; we all enjoyed Sautéed Broccolini - delicious; crunchy, not overcooked Creamy Polenta - delicious; creamy and cheesy Fresh Housemade Cavatelli - underwhelming; the veal and mirepoix ragu was watery and a bit bland Black Squid Ink Linguini - underwhelming; shrimp was tender and plump, but sauce was bland and watery again Grilled Branzino - delicious; perfectly cooked and seasoned Chocolate Delight - yummy; nice chocolate and hazelnut elements combined on the plate; different textures were definitely a delight to finish off the meal; good dessert to share Overall, this was a very lovely meal. The restaurant has a nice ambience for dating couples, but they easily accommodated families and large groups.

Relaxed despite its trendy vibe and sophisticated fare. Salads are huge. Pasta is well prepared. Pork chop is Fred Flintstone-esque. Wine list is varied and priced about what one expects.

We had one of the best meals we’ve had on the North Fork in a long time. The cocktails were creative and delicious - pretty to look at, too. Our server was knowledgeable and gracious, as were the many bussers. My companion had the pork chop, which was huge and very moist. I had the salmon, which was also a generous serving and came with a delightful mix of fresh grilled vegetables. We ended with a hazelnut chocolate dessert, which was just the right amount of sweet and rich. We’re looking forward to going back to try more dishes! The only caveat is there weren’t too many true vegetarian dishes - even the vegetarian pasta special was cooked in chicken broth - so if you’re dining with a vegetarian, you might want them to look at the menu in advance. But otherwise, a 5 out of 5.

The food was incredible at Southold Social. I love the restaurant. The bar area is really cute and it was a lively place. Also the outdoor patio looks lovely, but it was very hot when I ate there so we chose to eat inside. The food was delicious. My favorites are linguine with clams, and the octopus. Both were incredible. I loved everything I ate and my cocktail was also delicious… I forgot what it was called, but it was a tequila drink. I highly recommend you try this wonderful restaurant in Southold.

Came for thanksgiving so there was a prefix menu. The food was amazing, and the portions were quite large which is on theme for thanksgiving. Everything was beautifully plated, the staff was really great. The vibe is very much, house turned into restaurant and I loved it.
