Southern Sweets Ice Cream & Candy Shop

This evening several families waited for an employee to come to the ice cream counter. We rang the bell for service which is what the sign said to do and waited for 5 minutes with no response. Rang the bell again only to be yelled at by a frustrated employee saying they would be there in a minute. Employee finally showed up with a disgusted look on their face. Two families with their children had to witness this and we all decided to take are business elsewhere.

One of the better candy stores in the Topsail area. Not very big, but definitely has enough for what you're looking for.

Not sure how businesses make it here. Advertising they are open til 10:00pm. Show up at 8:15 and CLOSED. If someone had an ice cream shop and actually worked and took pride in it.. they could make a killing. Lazy people I guess.

They have tons of items to choose from for gifts. They have a candy shop inside and and ice cream shop. The ice cream was delicious.
