Food was delicious and well seasoned. Tasted like a home cooked meal. My husband loved the fish and I loved the cornbread dressing. Service was awesome. Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere . Can't wait to go back there to eat again.
We were pleasantly surprised to find Southern Soul had opened in a new location recently. The wife decided she wanted a fish plate and I was consigned to getting a cheeseburger. The order was called in and by the time I arrived the order was hot and waiting for me. The young lady behind the counter was pleasant and knew her way around a cash register just fine. The dining room area did not look updated any and was still a bit dinky but it would work if I had wanted to stay. I had pickles on my cheeseburger, pickle slices of all things. Not the fault of the restaurant though; my wife forgot to tell them no pickles. I'll survive to be honest.
Great food for the price. Perfect place to stop in for lunch.
