Southern Delight Cafeteria

We were visiting Lake St Clair looking for some good comfort food, we found the place. Sunday we had chicken, greens and Mac n cheese. It seems like Grandma was cooking up a storm in the kitchen. The food was delicious and definitely hit the spot. After church let out around noon the place was definitely filling up. It looked like a local favorite!

Great food…..service great friendly….green beans full of flavor …..chicken is tender and taste great!!! Fried pork chop is yum

Very disappointed in the food. There were 3 of us. First time eating there and our last. 1- Pot roast, mac & cheese, dressing. 2- Baked chicken, collards, black eyed peas. 3- Fried pork chop, dressing, lima beans. The m/c was way too dry, collards, peas & beans tasted like they were canned. Drink & roll included. $45.62. Also had to go from table to table to find a salt shaker. Tried 3 pepper shakers before I found one that had some pepper in it. Did not see a health inspection sheet posted.

I don't know who cooking In here but it was good!! Southern home-cooking at its best!!

The best freakin meatloaf I’ve ever had!!!!! Seasoned very well.
