It was very quiet on a Monday morning. It’s a cute little shop with a variety of super affordable, delicious donuts. And the owner was so very sweet! They also had hot coffee, your choice between dark, medium, and light roast.

Best doughnuts in Pinehurst! They are so tasty, huge, lots of flavors to choose from, and well worth the price. Make sure to get an apple fritter. They have a few sizes of fritters, with the large one easily feeding 5-6 people.

I had only tried donuts from Southern Angel Donut Co. before today... which have always been fantastic! The powdered sugar long john is delicious. The GINORMOUS apple fritter is great... but that might be the best cinnamon roll I've ever tasted!!

It's a carry out and we were looking for a place to sit, enjoy coffee and eat. There is one small table but that was occupied by what appeared to be the owner and an aquaintence at the time. So in all fairness we went somewhere else.

Southern Angel Donuts: Located in the heart of Pinehurst, NC, Southern Angel Donuts serves all of Moore County using old world recipes and hand formed techniques. The shop offers a plethora of interesting flavors, but seeing as I had a lot of food to try while visiting the area, I kept it to one. Peanut butter is a relatively unique flavor and one of my favorites from other doughnut shops that I've visited. I thought the texture of this yeast doughnut was exemplary as it was airy with a nice amount of chewiness. The dough itself had a nice buttery flavor, but I know what you all care about is that peanut butter frosting.
