Souper Jenny Westside

I don’t usually leave reviews on places but after the most wonderful lunch I’ve had in years I feel Souper Jenny deserves it. First off they greeted me with such a welcoming feel. Plenty of options to choose from. I went with the Marry Me Chicken soup, don’t tell my mom, but it was the best soup I’ve ever had. Most places will put a piece or two of chicken in your soup…not here! Loaded with that yard bird. Then had cold sesame noodles with veggies and more chicken. Out of this world with flavor and texture. Noodles perfectly cooked. Then to top it off you get a drink, cookie and piece of fruit for under $20. So if you live in this neighborhood or are working across the street, support this local establishment. I will next time I’m in the area.

A good friend of mine insisted we try souper jennie. I’m so happy we got a chance to experience this wonderful place! Now this is my favorite place! I love fresh food! The soup and sandwich combo is a great way to have lunch! It comes with a drink, cookie, and fresh fruit. We sat out side on the patio with its rustic tables & chairs! You can also take a stroll around their gardens and meet farmer Jeff. He is very friendly! Everyone here is very polite and friendly! Update | August 2025: This location is often closed outside of the listed hours. With this in mind, I messaged the restaurant’s Instagram to find out if the location was open before I made the drive. The message was marked as “seen” soon after I sent my message, but I never received a response. That was disappointing, and I took my business elsewhere. Original Review | October 2024: Had the best lunch at Souper Jenny sitting outside on an October day with 79 degree weather. Not crowded, not loud - peaceful. Ordered the turkey chili soup and a Cajun chicken sandwich and they were both delicious! And I am a picky-ish eater. Love the Westside location.

Really pretty restaurant with plenty of parking and seating. Loved all the flowers and plants everywhere and the variety of seating outside (covered) and on the inside. Liked the variety of sides like ice cream sandwiches and fresh corn bread. Soup was very good along with the sandwiches. They were busy as it was lunch, but everyone was very helpful and very prompt service. Would definitely go back.

This is a very welcoming place with a homey feeling to it. Great made fresh foods (soups, original sandwiches, and unique salads)! I recommend this restaurant if you want a relaxed, casual atmosphere with yummy eclectic food!
