Sorrento Pizza & Restaurant

Sorrentos was my go to spot when I lived in Pearl River. Moved to Tappan last summer and have yet to find a pizza place as good as Sorrentos even though there are a ton of options a few minutes from my house. Recently had a pizza party and all my guests loved the pizza! I will forever make the 15 minute drive for some Sorrentos pizza ;-) :-P

I went around 5PM on a Wednesday and the place was pretty quiet. Nice decor and fast service. Food was great.

I ordered garlic bread, taste was good delicious with mix of garlic and cheese in big bread, crunchy, but willing to have garlic knot than bread which wasn't served in afternoon.

I don't know what happened since the last time I was there but it has went downhill fast. On a Saturday night it should have been packed, always was in the past. Now? Nobody was in there. Like crickets... Only reason I gave it 3 stars for food was the pizza was still good. The food however is complete trash. Soup with absolutely zero taste, like legit got water with chunks of chicken. Alfredo that was probably frozen, watery, bland. Penne Vodka was bland, had to use half the salt shaker for some flavor. The veal was like leather. Service was ok I guess. Asked for some bread with dinner and the waiter looked at us like we had three heads. And brought us out those cheeseless pizza strip things. Um just wanted a little bread and butter. Lot's of Pizza Places in Pearl River. This place is special and that staff is always smiling and-make great pizza as well as a spot on top tier menu. I got a basic pie but OMG not basic...YUM
