Customer Reviews
Pastries here are delicious and the young ladies at the counter are so sweet. Great customer service. However not sure what is going on with management. We saw a sign about RI food fights that stated you need to make a $5 purchase in order to get the $5 breakfast sandwich. We have done this challenge before and you pay money to buy tickets for the sandwiches. This seems like it is probably a deterrent for customers and would keep people from spending more. Unfortunately the food is really mediocre and microwaved. I wanted to like our sandwiches more but it just wasn’t tasting fresh. Our coffees were also lacking flavor and we had to add a ton of sugar despite it being flavored. This is our third time trying here and have had the same issues every time
Stopped in during a long roadtrip. Took a chance on this local option and it was very pleasant. I had the chipotle chicken on sourdough which came with some baked bagel chips. Those were surprisingly good! I also ordered a carmel machiatto. Everything came up fast. Everyone was very nice, and the dining area was clean and cozy.
Coffee bar serves breakfast lunch and their own bake goods I believe they roast as well as brew. We stopped by for coffee and a quick bite. Delicious salmon bale and iced coffee. Not associated with brewery down the road. Place was with what looked to be regulars. Prices seemed very fair
So listen, I’ve been coming to Sophie’s for years now. Over the time the quality of the ice coffee (particularly flavored varieties) has gone dramatically down hill. Please taste test this stuff, it’s awful. Additionally, a breakfast sandwich and a large iced coffee (which again, has a 75% chance of tasting awful) totaling to $15 is quite high. When I started coming 3 years ago it was $9.30 for the same meal, I get food prices have increased, but much of that has come down. So if you start to wonder why regulars aren’t coming in as much, it’s because your flavored coffee is horrendous and the price to value just isn’t there any more
The coffee is amazing here and the service is good. The atmosphere is really nice to meet up with friends or to have a work session. The food is good, but there is a limited selection of vegan options. So far I know are there no vegan pastrie options.
