Location is awesome - not far from the aquarium Walked in got a menu and immediately a gentleman said he’d help us around the corner on the other register it was quick service. Bean and cheese burrito no spicy salsa was amazing! I wanted to buy a tray and take them back to washington with me. Agua Fresca Mango Orange was so refreshing and tasty. It was a good vibe & loved the building and decorations also the music it was clean and neat and busy which is all great. 2 hour free parking less than a block away is also a bonus

Everything about this place is incredible. The food, service, and atmosphere are all excellent. The flavor and quality of the tortillas and meat, as well as the salsas and aguas frescas are all absolutely fantastic. The tortillas were so good I bought some to take back home with me, which my Mexican fiancée loved. I strongly recommend this restaurant and will be back next time I’m in Long Beach. The staff went above and beyond to be friendly and I noticed a nice touch where they cleaned off the side of a bowl with a tiny bit of overspill before taking to the table. It’s the love and care that goes into everything that makes this experience so wonderful. This is in my top five places outside México and they deserve their success.

I’ve had tacos all over the country. Street carts, trendy spots with Edison bulbs, places that charge you extra for “artisanal air.” Sonoratown? Zero gimmicks. Just absolute heat. I went with the cabeza taco and the chivichanga, and both were outstanding. The cabeza was everything it should be. Tender, rich, perfectly seasoned, and wrapped in one of those thin Sonoran-style flour tortillas that somehow feel both delicate and indestructible at the same time. No unnecessary fluff. No overcomplication. Just pure flavor doing its job. And the chivichanga? Dangerous. Crispy on the outside, loaded on the inside, balanced and not greasy in the slightest. It’s the kind of thing you start eating slowly and then suddenly look down and realize it’s gone. This place doesn’t try to impress you. It

Fresh ingredients, home made feeling, cozy atmosphere. The burrito is the main star, I can't find anything to complain about, it's just that good! Though the tacos are just okay, I mean they ARE good, just not really my style. Highly recommend the burrito! It's a must try. Also the people working there are amazing and really helpful.

Sonoratown in Long Beach is a gem if you’re craving authentic Sonoran-style Mexican food. The fresh flour tortillas are the star here—thin, chewy, and full of flavor from the grill. You can immediately taste the difference. I had the Bean & Cheese Burrito and the Carmelo, and both were excellent. The bean & cheese was simple but spot-on, while the Carmelo is pretty hefty, stuffed with plenty of meat and cheese, making it a hearty and satisfying choice. The sides of grilled green onions and sliced radishes were a nice traditional touch. The restaurant has a fun, colorful vibe with plenty of indoor seating and a relaxed, welcoming feel. Service is quick and efficient. Just note that parking is street parking only, but it’s worth it once you’re inside. If you’re in downtown Long Beach and
