Soni's Italian Restaurant

The food at Soni's is really as good as everyone says. (Except when the waitress forgets the bread and butter) Linda got a Soni's burger, and I got the veal piccata over angel hair. First off, the fries with that burger were the best I have ever had in my life. I think they use potato starch or something to really give the fries a super crunchy crispy texture. I'm not kidding. Best French fries ever, anywhere, period. They were even great cold! I'm serious! The burger was great too. Linda said, best burger ever. The bun had a really deep texture and the toppings were all perfect. I'm serious, because when is the last time you got onion rings on a burger, and they were crunchy? The food here is fantastic. The staff is friendly and on top of things. The chicken asiago is excellent. I couldn't recommend them more.

Neat place great service love the Christian music. We will be back. The salad had a spring mix and not iceberg. Its hard to find a good salad. The deserts are homemade I suggest saving room for pie when you visit.

Decided to give this place a try because it's close to my husband's work and we wanted to get a late lunch. The restaurant is very clean, comfortable, and the waitress was kind and attentive to our table. We ordered the Italian egg rolls for an appetizer and they were absolutely delicious. The entrees we ordered left much to be desired. I'm an Italian girl and being from Youngstown, rust belt Italian food is part of my culture. I have never been to an Italian restaurant in the general area in which a side salad and a basket of fresh bread is not included with pasta entrees. It's a bit unnerving, because the prices for pasta dishes are already SO high at this restaurant. The portion size is another issue. If we didn't have the appetizer, we would have left hungry. my favorite in-town italian restaurant! i don’t give restaurants 5 stars easily… but this one deserves it. their menu is great, they have a big selection of a lot of items, their customer service is always great (and congratulations to the new owner who greeted us last time), and lastly the environment is very cozy & welcoming! i come here all the time with my family & friends
