My wife has been here multiple times and asked me to go today for lunch. I really enjoyed my lunch. She got her normal, “The Nicole” and loves it. I tried a bite and it is very tasty. I got the Turkey and Bacon on a croissant with fries and it was a 10/10. Absolutely delicious. She had to make sure she got desserts to go. I forget exactly what she went with. But did take a bite of each as soon as we got in the car! Will definitely be returning!!
Always a great meal at Something Special. Whether it's a fresh bakery item, a tasty confection, or a quart of the specialty soup that catches your eye, you'll leave feeling like you tried something fresh, unique and seasonal. Our last time in, we did the pick two lunch combo and tried two rib-sticking salads with a cup of soup, each. We both thought the Wild Rice soup was untamably good; thicker than expected, making it rich, deep and savory; the Chickpea Lemon Orzo soup was no slouch, either, bright and balanced. Ordering the Turkey BLT Salad (with tomatoes, bacon, red onion, garlic croutons and garlic ranch) and Grilled Maple Chicken Salad (shredded carrots and greens with apples, craisins, cubed cheddar, candied walnuts and maple dijon vinaigrette) felt criminal with all the incredibl
I stumbled upon this hidden gem and I'm so glad I did! The space is cozy and inviting, absolutely perfect. This place deserves all the praise - 100% recommend it!
Great service. Got the iced hazelnut latte and the special sandwich which had a Jack Daniel's glaze. the sandwich was huge and so tasty! Fries crispy and also delicious. Table a little sticky from wear and cleaning agents but overall clean small atmosphere. Cookies also tasty.
Update : This easily became our favorite place in the area! Every time we come its something new and SO delicious! Today it was a breakfast special. Egg, cheese, bacon avocado on their homemade Jalapeño sour dough bread. Yum! It was a masterpiece! And french toast made with their Cranberry Walnut bread? Perfection! Wow! How did I never hear about this place?! Staff is welcoming and professional, and the food is awesome! I had this amazing chocolate, strawberry latte, which was SO good, I'm actually getting thirsty now thinking about it! I got the Thursday Taco Special, which was excellent, but now I can't wait to go back to try the quiches, croissants and home made soups. I took a loaf of the cranberry walnut bread home, and after my husband ate 3 slices, he asked me to never bring it
