Somersworth Public Library

Somersworth library is the best! Small Town, Big Heart! I have to give a shout out to the best library in the seacoast! Somersworth library offers so many options for kids and adults. The staff is always welcoming. They are very creative and come up with fun activities for kids to do and also offer adult options for getting out, enjoying yoga or painting or some kind of class. I have been to many libraries, but I don’t think they compare in any way to the wonderful atmosphere and community spirit you will find here. If you are a family thinking of moving to Somersworth, I highly recommend you check out the library and make it a family affair. There is always something fun to do for young and old alike!

Amazing staff! They put in so much work for their kids programs and activities. The kids room downstairs is always so thoughtfully set up with rotating themes. Me and my 2 young kids moved to Somersworth this year and knew no one, the library has been an amazing place for us to find community and meet friends. They have so much going on here, it’s truly a gem. Love the propagation station!

A wonderful library, very welcoming and friendly staff. They have great events every month for children and adults. My one issue is the bathrooms, wish they were a bit cleaner.

Tonya, the children's librarian, is AMAZING! She has helped make the children's room into such a warm and friendly environment by adding new books, enjoyable reading spaces, and plenty of toys for the young ones. She is such a friendly presence and always willing to help.
