Somerset House Bed & Breakfast

Somerset House is a very lovely and beautifully maintained bed and breakfast with history well presented by our warm and friendly hostess, Tena. Our stay was very enjoyable, quiet and uninterrupted. The morning we enjoyed having coffee from the 2nd floor porch, while the afternoon was spent relaxing and reading in the library. This was my best friend's stay at a B&B. He enjoyed it so much and found it's beauty and elegance unmatched. Yet, comfort and a "homey" feeling was not excluded! We had an enjoyable stay and would definitely return without hesitation!. Thank you, Tena for your gracious hospitality!

This is one of the most classy & historically aesthetic B&Bs. The owner (Ms. Tena) is an absolutely precious & sweet Southern belle! She makes you feel like you are at home & you are supposed to be there! This place is a blessing! From the time you pull into the parking lot, a sense of peace overwhelms you & it is indescribably comforting! I stayed there for almost two months while I worked in Talladega. If you ever get a chance to go that way, I’d strongly suggest you stay at this magnificent place! You will not regret it & you will definitely want to return to stay there again! Somerset House II B & B is a Beautiful, Historic and Relaxing home away from home! Very convenient for Talladega NASCAR races, Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, AIDB Helen Keller School, Talladega College, and Citizen’s Baptist Medical Center! Local ownership that treats you like family🩷 Very restful experience✅

Overall 5/5 Stars!! I had a great experience at Somerset! Very clean and the host was AMAZING! She and her sweet most amazing mom (memaw) cooked me the most delicious breakfast!

WOW EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY!!!! My husband and I are so happy with our stay at Somerset House. Really the pictures don’t do it justice because this place is absolutely beautiful! The beds were so clean and comfortable, the rooms were so nice and clean! They did an outstanding job on decorating the house and it feels like you have stepped in the early times.. Looks like the house has lots of history and it’s so gorgeous! The library and fireplaces throughout the house was my favorite part! The breakfast in the morning was delicious.. The customer service? Wow!! Amazing!! They made us feel like we were truly home! The Southern hospitality here is real and we loved it!! Thank you so so much and we will definitely be coming back!!
