Smokey's BBQ

I ordered a pulled pork plate with mac and cheese and baked beans. The mac and cheese was probably a couple of days old, the baked beans were not fulled cooked, and the pulled pork was not pulled pork. Where I come from pulled pork is pork shoulder cooked low and slow and then pulled with forks. The dude chopped something with a butcher knife for our order. Our best guess is that it was chicken. No smoke flavor at all.

After a long day of working out of town we decided to try this spot. Terrible idea, the person at the counter did not seem happy to see us, wish I turned around then because the food was incredibly lacking in flavor. The coleslaw smelled weird, tasted old and warm, the Mac and cheese was only edible doused in bbq sauce and the brisket may have been the worst I’ve ever had. I’m not sure if I came in on a bad day or what but I was highly disappointed ☹️ I hope they are able to reclaim themselves.

Very disappointed, once was delicious .. but as you can clearly see, it was barely palatable. Meat was overcooked, dry, and visably charred.. for 32$ a lbs for burnt brisket, it’s offensive, charred ribs for 36$ are equally so. 👎

Brisket was very good and moist, Mac and cheese was great. Wasn’t a fan of the potato salad. Ribs were good a little on the dry side. Service was great. Only complaint is that it’s dirty inside. Needs a good cleaning

We weren't even a mile out of Ukiah on our way up to Laytonville when every 10 minutes I hear "Are we there yet...Are we there yet" Well, I keep a hickory hammer handle in the truck just for this, so I gave Lil Leroy a crack on the kneecap to shut him up! And, that little Weasel said ..."All I wanted know is are we at Smokey's BBQ yet...acause I can hardly wait for them ribs" Man-O-Man you're 40 years old ...acting like a little kid, when the hell you going to grow up, I told him...then I showed him the hickory stick and asked him if he wanted another! Well, he kept quiet all the way up to Smokey's and we went and had some Amazing food! ☆☆☆☆☆
