Willits Branch of Mendocino County Library

One of my favorite libraries in Mendocino& Sonoma county. It’s cozy and always had good energy when I visit. Easy to find a seat and relax and read for a bit. The staff is always so kind and helpful. It’s a smaller library but so easy to special request anything they don’t have on hand. Truly a gem of Willits.

Clean, organized and friendly library. Denise was very helpful every time we visited. You can tell the workers put time and thought into making the library as welcoming and helpful as possible. I definitely recommend stopping by.

Laid back chill good vibe enjoy reading books there and not needing to take them back and forth. I can go there peacefully and read and return. The staff are nice and inviting. Different age groups come in it’s clean, be cool for someone to donate snacks packaged ones healthy snacks just as it’s a study place and to have a bite to eat just makes a person feel good. The bathrooms work and need updating as it’s an old building. The room reserved sometimes gets loud with people in there as their talking echos out into the library. A few times people talk on their phones most of the time the staff will remind them to take calls outside. Which is helpful especially if I’m into my book. For a secluded and small town it’s a nice library and the museum is next door.

I love this library but it is SO noisy! people talk on the phone indoors or out loud regardless of whether some of us are reading. Even the manager of this library is in her open office all the time talking very loudly, she doesn't even make the effort to speak at a lower volume. If it is supposed to be a library, silence should be mandatory.

It's great!! I was able to check out equipment so that I can finally get Internet, check my email etc... For 3 weeks at a time. Also they have a huge CD and DVD selection. All together they make a great entertainment package. Who said Library's only had books? Quiet building, conveniently located, for the student at heart! Connie gassen
