Smokehouse Restaurant

The food was amazing!!!! Big portion sizes on the normal menu items but they were also willing to let us order smaller portions of items so we could “sample” them. Every bite was delicious. The staff were super attentive and very helpful. We highly recommend it!

Amazing classic diner experience. The waitstaff is always on the spot. Smokehouse always delivers down-home country favorites that we all love. I highly recommend the “Hungry Tiger”. Chicken Fried Steak, served on a bed of hash browns, with eggs on top, smothered in gravy. Side of Biscuit and Gravy or Flapjacks. The “Country Stack” is exactly the same, only without the extra side. The chicken fried steak is lightly breaded, and always fresh. You can tell that it is homemade. If not from the quality, from the fact that the breading is perfectly done. Great flavor! The pancakes are really good for my expectations of a restaurant. Although, it is made from a mix. Best breakfast around! This place is ALWAYS packed with people, so be prepared. It's worth the wait or drive to eat here. Our lodge recommended this place and we are hooked!

What a great place when in La Grande! The staff was very welcoming when coming through door - it was like they'd seen us before and were glad we were back. The waitress was super friendly recommending what to order. We loved that they serve breakfast through the whole time they're open. Food was hot, fresh, and homemade!

It was okay. Friendly staff but the food is a bit overpriced especially for the amount of food your getting. My hash browns were burnt on top and this “cinnamon roll” was very misleading as it isn’t technically your original cinnamon roll and listed at $7…. overall it was okay.
